ABSTRACT
The objective of this research was to compare leucocyte, differential count, and level of calprotectin in normal women, normal pregnant women, mild preecalamsia, and severe preclampsia. The design of the study was observational analytic. The research was bone at Emergency Room and Outpatient Clinik in Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya. The patients were women reproductive age, normal pregnant women, mild preeclampsia, and severe preeclapsia on third trimester. We observed 13 women in reproductive age, 13 normal pregnalt women, 13 pregnant women with mild preeclampsia, and 13 pregnant women with severe preeclampsia.
By using T-Test we find that leucocyt count T-Test we find that leucocyt count (p=0.003), neutrofil differential count (p=0.000), and calprotectin level (p=0.012), is significantly increase in normal in normal pregnant women comparing with women reproductive age. Leucocyte count (p=0.0493), differential count (p=0.140, p= 0.530), and calprotectin level (p=0.881) in normal pregnant women is increase comparing with mild preeclampia. But leucocyt count (p = 0.027), and neutrofil differential count (p=0.000) is significantly increase in severe preeclampsia. Between mild and severe preeclampsia onlyneutrophil differential count (p=0.13) that signigicantly increase in severe preeclapsia. Between mild and severe preeclampsia only neutrofil diffential count (p=0.013) that significanlty increase.
By using Logistic Regression Logistid Regression Test, only neutrophil differential count can be used to predict whether normal pregnancy have risk to become preeclampsia (p=0.025, R2 = 0.729). Based on the result, it could be concluded that Leucocyt count especially neutrofil differential count is significantly increasing in severe preeclampsia. Neutrofil differential count is easy and cheap laboratory examination can be used to predict the risk of preeclampsia on pregnancy.
